On Tuesday night 5th January and Wednesday 6th January 27cm of snow fell at Wellington College with further snow flurries throughout the week adding a few centimetres more.

 

At 07:35 on Thursday the temperature plummeted to -11.6C. Daytime  temperatures have barely managed to get above freezing for a short time each day this week.

 

The Support Staff at Wellington have worked tirelessly clearing roads and paths of snow and fallen trees and branches to enable the college to open for start of term on Sunday 10th January.
