The Longest Day has passed and Midsummer Day is tomorrow yet we have initial marked our first Winter pitch today! We are preparing for a Summer long string of rugby training camps on Bigside so we have marked in a rugby pitch on Bigside 5.

 

It was very warm with a high of 25.7C at 16:27. After 11 days with no measurable rain and high evapotranspiration rates the grounds are beginning to suffer from drought. There is rain forecast for the end of this week and into next so hopefully the grass will get a drink and recover quickly.
