We had a maximum average wind speed today of 39.1mph at around 2:00pm. The rain that has been threatening to push up from the South has been losing the battle from the strong to gale force ENE'ly winds that have been keeping it at bay. The winds should be lighter tomorrow so that may allow the fronts bringing the rain inland.
Hopefully the winds will be light enough to allow Turf to be sprayed with chelated iron and magnesium tomorrow to give it a good colour and a little 'lift' in time for Speech Day.
