All hands to the courts!

Listed under: Sports Pitches
A manic day today with all the Groundstaff erecting free standing tennis hardware and dividing nets on sixteen courts. Not without problems as many winder mechanisms had to be replaced.

Two cricket pitches were cut out on the 1st XI square.

One week to go and the Summer term begins, we are just about on target. We need more work done on cricket pitch preparation, two rounders pitches to initial mark, discus cage to erect and playing fields fertilised if rain is forecast. Unfortunately, as far as the reseeding and fertilising are concerned, it looks as though the South East may have another dry week whilst the West and North see the rain.
