A nice pleasant day today with a high of 13.3C just after midday. This is ideal for some pitch recovery during half term week.
We took an opportunity to dig two cubic metre holes ready to concrete some posts that will support the divider net on the Bawden/Martin synthetic pitch.
The milder weather has also meant that the birds are ripping up one of our grass hockey pitches in search of leather jackets and chafer grubs.
Tomorrow is another day of pleasant sunny spells with the temperature in the afternoon reaching double figures again.
